Sanaa Court reserves case of “US-Israeli-Saudi espionage network” for final verdict

SANAA, Nov. 17 (YPA) – The Specialized Criminal Court in the Capital, Sanaa, approved on Monday reserving the cases of the defendants belonging to an espionage network affiliated with American, Israeli, and Saudi intelligence for the final verdict in the next session.

This decision came after the court heard the defendants’ responses, their lawyers’ pleas, and the prosecution’s arguments, which demanded the death penalty for all 21 accused individuals.

The prosecution charged the defendants with communicating and collaborating with hostile states (Saudi Arabia, Britain, and the US) during the 2024-2025 period, and providing them with sensitive information regarding the locations and movements of state leaders, as well as military and security secrets. This information led to the targeting of military and civilian sites, resulting in the deaths of dozens.
