Palestinian teen killed, another injured in Israeli raid on Askar refugee camp

NABLUS, Nov. 16 (YPA) – A Palestinian teen was killed and another injured during a pre-dawn Israeli military raid on the Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, on Sunday, according to medical sources.

The Director of Ambulance and Emergency Services at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus, Ameer Hassan, reported that two teens were injured as Israeli forces stormed the camp.

One was shot with live ammunition in the chest and succumbed to his injuries, while the other was shot in the back and was transferred to the hospital for treatment.

Earlier in the night, a large Israeli military force broke into Nablus from multiple directions, leading to confrontations in the Askar camp, where Israeli soldiers fired live rounds at residents.

In addition, Israeli occupation forces raided the Ras al-Ain, Al-Basha, and Old City neighborhoods, but no detentions were reported.
