Ansarullah official warns of foreign military preparations for upcoming battle in Yemen

SANAA, Nov. 16 (YPA) – A Senior Ansarullah official said Yemen’s support for Gaza has received wide popular backing domestically and “approval from many countries,” describing the Yemen’s stance  as a religious and moral duty deeply rooted in Islamic values.

In a video statement posted on social media, a member of Ansarullah Political Bureau, Dhaifallah al-Shami affirmed that that there are multiple international and regional actors — including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates — are engaging in “large-scale movements” aligned with Israel.

He said that these activities include political meetings, shuttle diplomacy and coordination with anti-Houthi factions in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Aden.

Al-Shami further asserted that foreign military personnel had recently arrived in Aden and other parts of southern Yemen.

According to his statement, American, Israeli, Saudi and Emirati officers visited military camps and sought to train local forces, including the Giants Brigades, Tihama units and the Republican Guards on the western coast, extending to Marib and the city of Ataq.

He described these visits as preparations for “an upcoming battle against the Yemeni people.”

Th official also accused media outlets and “electronic armies” of attempting to suppress Yemeni voices on social media.

He further claimed that Emirati companies had facilitated the entry of about 400 tourists — “mostly Israelis,” whom he alleged included intelligence personnel — to Socotra and other areas under anti-Houthi control.

Al-Shami also said British forces had arrived on the island of Abd al-Kuri with local allied groups.

He asserted that recent foreign and regional military activities in Yemen would not affect the Yemeni people or undermine the morale of its armed forces.

Al-Shamai stressed that  the Yemenis are “ready and prepared,” guided by faith and principles that form the foundation of their stance.

He emphasized that standing in solidarity with “oppressed brothers in Palestine” is a matter of religious duty, moral values, and ethics.

Al-Shami described the visits and meetings of the UN envoy, including sending his deputy to Sanaa, as part of preparations for a forthcoming conflict, which he claimed the Yemeni people would prevail in, citing their possession of “the cause and the right.”

He pointed out that the ‘aggressor states’ are experiencing disarray and fear of being seen as part of an Israeli-led conflict, asserting that the involvement of US, Israeli, Saudi, and Emirati officers in receiving and training forces in Aden, as well as handing over military bases in Shabwa and Ataq to their allied forces, clearly demonstrates this connection.

The official concluded by stating that “any future battle would serve the U.S.-Israeli project, and those who mobilize and recruit forces are acting in service of this agenda in the region,” while asserting that the Yemeni people will be ready to confront them.
