PRAGUE, Nov. 15 (YPA) – The Hind Rajab Foundation filed a criminal complaint with the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, against Israeli reserve soldier and rapper Noam Tzuriel.
The Foundation accused the soldier of committing serious violations during the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
It, which pursues legal action against members of the Israeli army outside the occupied territories, explained that the Israeli singer, who performed a concert in Prague last night, has faced charges related to war crimes against humanity, and genocide, based on a legal file prepared by lawyer Dr. Jan Taubel of the Taubel Law Office in Prague.
The complaint is based on a report issued by a human rights organization stating that Tzuriel directly participated in the destruction of civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and that he publicly expressed his support for these actions through his artistic works and media statements.
According to the investigation, Tzuriel served with the 699th Paratroopers Battalion of the 551st Brigade, “Fire Arrows,” on October 27 and 28, 2023, accompanying Israeli forces that entered Gaza as part of the ground invasion.
His social media posts also revealed his frequent entry into the Gaza Strip and his participation in ongoing military operations.
The documents indicated that during a concert in December 2024, the Israeli rapper played video footage of Israeli forces raiding and demolishing Palestinian homes, and made statements explicitly calling for violence against Gaza.
