Israeli ceasefire violations escalate in Gaza

GAZA, Nov. 13 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces early Thursday continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the besieged Gaza Strip, now entering its second consecutive month, as the demolition of residential homes persisted.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes early Thursday, accompanied by artillery shelling targeting the eastern areas of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

The sources added that Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis, while the occupation forces blew up several buildings in the same area.

An Israeli airstrike also targeted the vicinity of Ahmad al-Shuqeiri School, northeast of Beit Lahiya, in northern Gaza early Thursday.

The sources said Israeli aircraft launched additional strikes on the eastern parts of Gaza City, while occupation forces carried out demolitions of buildings east of the Tuffah neighborhood, also in Gaza City.

Heavy gunfire was also reported around the al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah, in southern Gaza, the sources added.

In addition, the occupation forces bombed the al-Zanna area, northeast of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, along with intense tank shelling of south of the city.
