Cold wave expected sweeping mountainous areas of Yemen

SANAA, Nov. 10 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology warned on Monday to citizens, especially the elderly, children, of cold wave sweeping mountainous provinces of Yemen.

In its weather bulletin, the center advised farmers in mountainous areas to take the necessary measures to protect their crops.

The bulletin affirmed that the cold wave will target the mountainous regions of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Dalea, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, Jawf, and southern Marib, Hadramawt, Shabwa, Taiz, Rayma, and Mahweet.

It also warned those traveling to the colder provinces to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves from the cold.
