Body of woman found killed in Lahj

LAHJ, Nov. 03 (YPA) – Body of a woman was found on Monday under mysterious circumstances in a horrific murder shook Al-Musaymir district of Lahj governorate, which is under the control of UAE-backed factions.

Citizens found the body of Ruqayya Qaed Nasher Al-Aswad, a resident of Arismah village in the Jubail Hanash district, a day after she was reported missing under circumstances that raised many questions.

Local sources reported that the body bore signs of torture and severe beatings, with her skull crushed until she died. No details were given about the circumstances of the crime or the motives behind it.

The sources indicated that the residents informed the so-called “Security Belt” factions of the incident. Fingers pointed to elements loyal to the Southern Transitional Council, without any official confirmation from any party. The victim’s family is demanding that the authorities open an urgent investigation and reveal the circumstances of the crime and the party behind it.
