Two Lebanese killed, 7 injured in two Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Nov. 03 (YPA) – At least two Lebanese civilians were killed and seven others injured due to two Israeli airstrikes targeting two areas in the south of the country, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said on Monday.

The Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center clarified that the preliminary toll from the strike that targeted the Al-Duwair Al-Sharqiah road in the Nabatieh district is one martyr and seven injured citizens.

In a separate development, the center reported that an Israeli drone targeted the town of Ayta al-Shaab in the Bint Jbeil district, resulting in the killing of another Lebanese citizen.

As Israeli escalation continues, the Mayor (Mukhtar) of Al-Duwair town called upon the Lebanese State to take “serious action after a year of aggressions” witnessed by the border towns, which constitute a continuous violation of the declared ceasefire.
