HESSE, Nov. 03 – The German state of Hesse witnessed widespread protests against the Emirati intervention in Sudan, where demonstrators demanded that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) be tried before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for supporting those they described as “criminals” in the country.
Protesters also called for a comprehensive international boycott of all things related to the UAE, viewing it as a form of pressure to halt its interference in Sudanese affairs.
The wave of protests extended to include other international cities such as Liverpool in the UK and in Greece, where activists organized similar demonstrations in support of Sudanese rights and in rejection of UAE policies.
Participants affirmed that these movements reflect popular refusal of Emirati policies, urging the international community to take immediate action to hold those involved accountable.
