BEIRUT, Nov. 02 (YPA) — Four people were killed and several others wounded in southern Lebanon after an Israeli airstrike targeted a car, as Israel intensified its air raids across the south and east of the country amid growing talk of a possible escalation.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health said in a statement on Sunday that the strike hit the town of Kfar Rumman, in the Nabatieh district, killing four people and wounding three others.
Earlier on Saturday, one person was injured in an Israeli airstrike on the nearby town of Kfarsir, in a new Israeli violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The ministry did not provide further details about the person’s identity or the severity of the injuries.
The attacks came a day after two people were killed and another injured on Friday in Israeli airstrikes targeting motorcycles in Nabatieh province.
