Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor: Israeli Occupation violates truce in Gaza, kills 10 Palestinians daily

GENEVA, Nov. 01 (YPA) – The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated that Israeli occupation forces continue to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip, albeit at a less publicized pace. The Monitor noted that the occupation kills approximately 10 Palestinians daily and injures more than 28 others since the ceasefire agreement began.

In a report issued on Friday from Geneva, the Monitor explained that Israel is employing a new methodology based on limited daily violations of the truce agreement, which escalate every few days into larger-scale attacks.

The report indicated that since the agreement was signed, occupation forces have killed 219 Palestinians, including 85 children, and injured nearly 600 others. The report further stated that Israel is attempting to impose a new reality on the ground that would allow it to continue its military operations within the areas it controls, which constitute about half of the Gaza Strip, in an effort to remove them from the scope of the ceasefire agreement.

The Observatory added that the pattern of repeated Israeli bombing reflects a clear trend at both the political and military levels in Tel Aviv toward weakening and gradually undermining the agreement, amid international silence and political complicity that grants the occupation cover to continue its crimes. It also warned of a plan to alter the demographic geography of the Gaza Strip, leading to its fragmentation and transformation into an uninhabitable area, pushing residents toward forced migration as their “only option for survival.”
