Nablus Battalion declares detonation of Israeli military vehicle with IED in Nablus

NABLUS, Nov. 01 (YPA) – The Nablus Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced, on Saturday, that its fighters in the Askar Company detonated an explosive device targeting an Israeli military vehicle in Nablus.

In a statement, it said: “After re-establishing contact with one of our combat formations in the Askar Company, they confirmed that at 1:10 AM today they successfully detonated a guided explosive device of the Sijjil type targeting a Zionist military vehicle and damaging it.”

This comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions’ response to the escalation of Israeli occupation forces’ attacks against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, coinciding with the genocide, starvation war, and siege perpetrated by the enemy in the Gaza Strip for over two years.
