Sanaa: Police provide details on abduction of two-year-old Toddler in Al-Safia District

SANAA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – Police in Amanat Al-Asimah reported on Thursday afternoon, that  they received a report that a man identified as Sadiq Hussein Al-Jahla, 30, along with an accomplice, abducted his niece, two-year-old Rivan Sharif Al-Jahla.

According to the police, the suspects were on a pickup vehicle and forcibly took the child while she was walking with her mother on a public street in Al-Rawd neighborhood, Al-Safia District, before fleeing the scene. The mother attempted to pursue the vehicle and was pulled to the ground, sustaining serious injuries.

Police indicated that the incident stems from a family dispute.

Police said they immediately launched an investigation, tracked the suspects’ movements, and issued notices listing them as wanted.

Security forces confirmed that they will exert all efforts to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.
