BEIRUT, Oct 30 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces infiltrated the border town of Blida in southern Lebanon at dawn on Thursday, killing one person, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported, citing sources.
The occupation forces, supported by several military vehicles, advanced more than 1,000 meters into Blida and stormed the municipality building and killed an employee, Ibrahim Salamah, who had been sleeping there.
According to the sources, the occupation forces withdrew from the building after approximately two hours. Before pulling back, they issued a warning, communicated through UNIFIL, demanding the evacuation of the premises after the Lebanese Army and residents entered the building.
In a related incident, the Israeli occupation forces detonated a building in the southern border town of Al-Aadaissah at dawn.
Israeli occupation forces continue to target towns, vehicles, and motorcycles, despite the cessation of hostilities agreement that came into effect last November. They also continue to occupy several points and positions within Lebanese territory.
