Girl dies in fire suspected to be caused by pro-coalition factions in Dhalea

DHALEA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – A 16-year-old girl died from severe burns in a tragic incident in the Moris district of Dhalea governorate, which is under the control of factions loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.

The young woman sustained the injuries while attempting to extinguish a massive fire that broke out in her family’s home in Al-Makhbarah village.

Local sources reported that unidentified individuals, believed to be affiliated with the pro-coalition factions, set fire to a room used for storing cattle feed last Monday. The fire then spread, consuming large parts of the house.

The sources confirmed that the young woman died while trying to rescue her father from the flames, amid direct accusations against armed elements belonging to those factions for being behind the incident.

This tragic event comes just two days after the abduction and brutal torture of a citizen, Mokhtar Al-Madraj, inside the 83rd Brigade camp in Moris. These incidents are attributed to the state of security chaos and human rights violations witnessed in the district and other areas under the control of the coalition-backed factions.
