Iranian Foreign Minister: Our ‘atomic bomb’ is our ability to say ‘No’ to others
TEHRAN, Oct. 26 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, affirmed that the “atomic bomb” his country possesses is, in reality, its “ability to say ‘no’ to others” who reject Iran’s right to uranium enrichment.
In press statements on Saturday, Araghchi stated that Iran demands enrichment as its “right,” while the West insists on preventing it. He added that his country’s strength stems from rejecting foreign dictates and preserving its independence, dignity, and honor, a stance that he said began with the Islamic Revolution.
Addressing the West, he said, “We were not the ones who withdrew from the nuclear deal. Your concern and your imposition that we ‘should not possess it’ is unacceptable, but we are ready to negotiate to prove our rightfulness.”
He also warned that Iran’s complete readiness to prevent war is “greater than it was during the 12-day war,” and that repeating that experience would be met with “a similar response.”
