Ministry of Health in Gaza: Death toll of Israeli genocide rises to 68,519

GAZA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced, on Saturday, that the death toll from the Israeli genocide in the Strip has risen to 68,519 martyrs and 170,382 injuries since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, the Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that 19 martyrs, including 4 martyrs were killed as a result of direct targeting by the occupation, 15 martyrs (recovered), and 7 injuries, arrived at the Strip’s hospitals during the past 48 hours.

“Many victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them,” the ministry added.

It revealed that since the ceasefire, the death toll has reached 93 martyrs, 324 injuries, and the bodies of 464 martyrs have been recovered.

It also pointed out that 220 martyrs were added to the cumulative statistics of martyrs, whose data was completed and approved by the judicial committee following up on the file of notifications and missing persons from 10/24/2025 to 10/17/2025.

The ministry reported that 64 bodies have been identified so far out of 195 bodies, from the released bodies that were received by the Israeli occupation.
