Hamas affirms its commitment to truce agreement, calls on “Zionist enemy” to fulfill its obligations

GAZA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – Spokesman for Hamas movement, Hazem Qassem, confirmed on Friday the movement’s full commitment to the details of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 10, which reached through mediators.

In media statements, Qassem called on the “Zionist enemy” to fulfill its obligations, most notably halting the aggression, lifting the blockade, and allowing aid into the Gaza Strip.

Qassem also stressed the movement’s commitment to Palestinian national consensus regarding the form of government in Gaza after the war.

Hamas described US President Donald Trump’s position rejecting the annexation of the West Bank as “positive.”
