2 citizens killed, others injured in Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon

BEIRUT, Oct. 23 (YPA) – At least two Lebanese citizens were killed and others were injured on Thursday due to Israeli occupation raids on several areas in southern and eastern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that the Israeli enemy’s air force launched a series of raids targeting several areas in the Baalbek district, striking the barren hills of the Janta area on the eastern mountain range, and extending to include several sites on the outskirts of the town of Shamsatar, west of Baalbek. This resulted in the killing of two people and the injuring of others.

The agency indicated that a state of panic prevailed among the students of Shamsatar Secondary School, where several window panes were shattered by the force of the raids during school hours.
