Israeli occupation violates ceasefire launching intense strikes on Khan Younis

GAZA, Oct. 19 (YPA) – Hebrew media and activists have documented new scenes of the Israeli occupation forces violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip by launching intense aerial raids and using “fire belts” that targeted the eastern areas of the city of Khan Younis southern the Strip.

Local residents reported that the bombing hit displacement camps, residential buildings, and areas densely populated with civilians, resulting in widespread destruction and immense fear among the residents.

This escalation comes just a few days after the ceasefire agreement took effect, threatening to undermine the deal and increase the suffering of civilians already living in difficult humanitarian conditions.

Field footage shows “fire belts” and thick columns of smoke rising from eastern Khan Younis, while emergency and medical teams work to deal with urgent cases amidst a lack of security and instability resulting from the repeated raids.
