DHAMAR, Oct. 18 (YPA) – Seismic monitoring stations recorded two earthquakes in Dhamar and Hodeida governorates during the early hours of Friday.
The seismic bulletin issued by the Center for Monitoring and Studying Earthquakes and Volcanoes in Dhamar stated that monitoring stations recorded an earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale, 5 kilometers southeast of the city of Zabid in Hodeida governorate, at 10:57 pm on Thursday.
The second tremor occurred at 6:28 am on Friday, and was a mild 2.3 magnitude earthquake, 22 kilometers east of Dhamar city. No reports of any damage from the two tremors were reported.
