BEIRUT, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Israeli drones launched three raids on areas in southern Lebanon, on Wednesday evening, one of which targeted the security vehicle in the village of Siddiqin, according to local sources and residents in the area.
Eyewitnesses reported that the first raid with two missiles from drones targeted the Rapid area on the Siddiqin-Kafra Mahlet al-Assi road, in front of the Rimal cooperative, resulting in civilian casualties. Initial unofficial information spoke of one martyr and one wounded.
The sources added that a second raid targeted the town of Siddiqin simultaneously with the first, resulting in more casualties. Ambulances rushed to the targeted site in Kafra Mahlet al-Assi and transported two wounded people to hospitals for treatment.
In a field development, the same local sources reported that Israeli military helicopters are currently heading towards the Lebanese border, amid a state of tension and anxiety in the southern regions. No official comment has yet been issued by the Israeli occupation army regarding the raids or the movements of the helicopters.
