Gaza Ministry of Health declares its readiness to receive bodies of prisoners released by “Israel”

GAZA, Oct. 14 (YPA) – The Gaza-based Ministry of Health declared on Tuesday the readiness of its medical and technical staff, through the Committee for the Management of Martyrs’ Bodies, to receive the bodies of prisoners expected to be released by the Israeli occupation.

In a statement, the ministry confirmed that it has completed the preparation of forensic and ambulance teams, as well as nursing and technical staff, to ensure the completion of the processes of receiving, examining, documenting, and delivering the bodies to the families of the martyrs, in a manner befitting the sanctity of the situation and the dignity of the righteous martyrs.

The statement added that its staff have been continuing to perform their humanitarian and professional duties despite the harsh conditions and lack of resources, in adherence to its mission to preserve the dignity of the living and the martyred, and embodying the principles of health and humanitarian work in the field.

It clarified that a special electronic link would be published later, including the belongings and distinguishing marks of the bodies, if were available, to assist the families of the martyrs in the process of identifying and tracing them.
