SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Oct. 13 (YPA) – US President Donald Trump said on Monday that “the Middle East is going through a very special time,” noting that negotiations on the second phase of the Gaza agreement have begun.
Trump announced his desire to make a deal with Iran, considering that “the Gaza agreement would not have happened if Iran’s nuclear facilities had not been bombed.”
Trump had said that it would be great to reach a peace agreement with Iran, adding, “Wouldn’t that please you? Wouldn’t that be nice? I think they want that too.”
“We are ready when you are ready to reach an agreement,” he added.
From Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt, Trump expressed his desire for Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to join the “peace council to manage Gaza.”
Speaking about the remains of Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip, he noted that “there is a lot of rubble and debris in Gaza, and the Strip needs to be cleaned up.”
The US President arrived in Egypt on Monday evening after his visit to the occupied entity, to participate in the “Middle East Peace Summit” scheduled to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, which includes leaders from Arab, Islamic, and international countries.
