Meteorology issues warnings about weather changes  

SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning warned on Friday citizens and drivers in areas expected to experience rainfall to avoid valleys and floodwaters.

In its weather bulletin, the center advised people to follow safety measures, beware of soil erosion, rock slides, and avoid unstable slopes.

It also warned of reduced visibility on roads and mountainous areas due to cloud cover and the formation of fog or mist.

For the mountainous highlands:

Scattered rains expected over parts of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Rayma, western Dhamar, and Mahweet, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout, parts of Dhalea and Hajjah.
