SANAA, Oct. 08 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in Sanaa has revealed a shocking toll of victims from the “US-British-Israeli aggression” on the capital and several Yemeni governorates.
The figures show 319 martyrs (killed) and 1,357 injured persons, including children and women. These numbers have been recorded since the start of Yemeni military operations in response to the events in Gaza, specifically since October 2023.
In a statement released on the second anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood battle,” the ministry announced that “this aggression directly targeted 7 health facilities, including hospitals, health centers, medical units, and drug warehouses.”
The statement clarified that these strikes caused the complete destruction of some facilities and partial damage to others, which resulted in them losing the ability to provide vital services to citizens.
The ministry further pointed out that the “US-British-Israeli enemy” has been deliberately targeting residential neighborhoods, civilian objects, homes, and vital civilian infrastructure since Yemen began its support for Gaza.
