QUDS, Oct. 05 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation’s air defenses failed on Sunday to intercept drones were launched from Yemen toward the city of Umm al-Rashrash, known as Eilat, south of occupied Palestine, Hebrew media outlets reported on Sunday.
They added that the landing of one of the planes at Eilat Airport was delayed due to the infiltration of a drone into the area, amid explosions that shook parts of the city.
These developments come just hours after a Yemeni missile attack targeted the occupied Al Quds city.
Earlier in the day, military spokesman for the Sanaa forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, announced the implementation of a qualitative military operation using a hypersonic Palestine-2 multi-warheads ballistic missile, which has, targeting several sensitive sites within the occupied territories.
Hebrew media confirmed that the Israeli occupation was closely monitoring the situation and continues to assess the effectiveness of its air defenses in confronting threats emanating from Yemen, amid warnings of a possible escalation of military operations in the coming hours.
