Explosions shock occupied “Eilat” after drone breach

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct. 05 (YPA) – Explosions were heard in the city of Umm al-Rashrash (which the Israeli occupation refers to as “Eilat”) following a drone breach of the area’s airspace, Hebrew media reported on Sunday.

Reports indicated that air raid sirens did not stop sounding throughout the city, warning of the drone’s passage. Initial reports suggested that air defenses failed to intercept the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), resulting in the loud explosions that shook the region.

Hebrew media further confirmed that the incident led to the disruption of a landing by an “Israeli” aircraft at “Eilat” Airport after the drone traversed the airspace.

This incident occurs amid escalating security tensions and highlights the challenges faced by the air defense system in intercepting non-conventional targets.
