Bahraini police assault protesters denouncing Israeli ambassador appointment

MANAMA, Oct. 05 (YPA) –  Bahraini police attacked pro-Palestinian demonstrators who gathered in the capital, Manama,  on Sunday to protest the appointment of the new Zionist (Israeli) Ambassador, Shmuel Revel, rejecting the continued normalization with the Israeli occupation.

The protestors raised slogans of solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemning the genocide being waged by the occupation on the Gaza Strip.

These protests follow the recent reception by Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, of the credentials of the Israeli Ambassador.
