Death toll from “Israeli genocide” in Gaza rises to 67,074, with 169,430 Injured

GAZA, Oct. 04 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the casualty toll from the ongoing “Israeli genocide” and continuous aggression on the strip has risen to 67,074 killed and 169,430 injured since October 7,2023.

Gaza’s health authorities confirmed in their daily statistical report that 66 killed and 265 injured reached the strip’s hospitals during the past 24 hours, noting that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

The report included other concerning updates:

“Martyrs of Livelihood” (Victims seeking aid): 6 killed and 40 injured from the victims of “livelihood” reached hospitals in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 2,603 killed and more than 19,094 injured.

Starvation and Malnutrition Deaths: Gaza health authorities recorded two deaths of children in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, raising the total deaths from malnutrition to 459 killed, including 154 children. Since the IPC declared famine in Gaza, 181 deaths have been recorded, including 39 children.

Addition to Casualty Data: 720 killed were added to the cumulative statistics after their data was completed and approved by the Judicial Committee overseeing the file of reports and missing persons.

The ministry also pointed out that the toll of killed and injured since March 18, 2025, until today, has reached 13,486 killed and 57,389 injured.

YPA
