Hamas official: Netanyahu belongs in prison, not on the UN podium

GAZA, Sept. 27 (YPA) -Taher el-Nounou, media adviser to the head of Hamas’ political bureau, stated that the Palestinian, Arab, and international will shall ultimately prevail despite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s attempts to suppress it.

In remarks to Arab media outlets, Al-Nounou said that the forced applause and whistles that interrupted Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations reflect the “megalomania” he suffers from.

He added that broadcasting Netanyahu’s speech over loudspeakers mounted on tanks and military vehicles in the Gaza Strip is a manifestation of his sadism and a clear indication of the escalation he is leading against the Palestinian people.

El-Nounou further stated that the boycott of Netanyahu’s speech is a clear expression of Israel’s international isolation, and that Netanyahu’s rightful place is not on the UN podium, but in prison as a war criminal.
