DAMASCUS, Sept. 24 (YPA) – About 256 incursions by Israeli enemy forces have been documented into Syrian territory since the eighth of December 2024.
In a statement, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the south of Syria entered a phase of security chaos and the decline of control, which opened the door to increased military movements of the Israeli enemy forces inside Syrian territory, especially in the areas of Quneitra countryside and Daraa countryside.
The statement said that the region had witnessed a long series of military incursions and operations targeting strategic locations inside Syria, as the Israeli entity sought to strengthen its security presence on the border.
It pointed out that the “Israeli” incursions varied between raids, arrests, the establishment of fortifications, digging trenches, in addition to air attacks and intensive aerial reconnaissance.
The statement pointed out that these “Israeli” moves had led to instability and significantly affected the lives of the civilian population in southern Syria.
