OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 23 (YPA) – An Israeli officer was killed during fighting in the Gaza Strip on Monday, Kan Hebrew Channel reported, citing a statement from the Israeli occupation military. This marks the first casualty in the ongoing assault on Gaza City, which began last week.
The officer has been identified as Maj. Shahar Netanel Bozaglo, a company commander in the 7th Armored Brigade’s 77th Battalion.
According to the occupation military, he was killed when a Hamas fighter fired an RPG at a tank, making him the first casualty in the new assault on Gaza City.
