Sayyed Al-Houthi: September 21 Revolution is authentic and liberates Yemen from external tutelage

SANAA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – The leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, extended his congratulations to the entire Yemeni people and to the pioneers of the revolution who played a crucial role in achieving this monumental victory.

“We first thank God for the great historic victory granted to our dear people on the 21st of September,” said al-Houthi in his speech marking the 11th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution. “Congratulations to all our people and to the pioneers of the revolution, who were crucial in achieving this momentous accomplishment.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi emphasized the 21st of September revolution is a unique and a great achievement born of the people’s pure will.

He further that the September 21 Revolution “does not need fake media propaganda” as it is an authentic revolution that emerged from a pure Yemeni will, free from any foreign dependence or orientation.

He added that the people themselves financed the revolution through convoys and popular contributions to camps and frontlines.

Sayyed al-Houthi described the revolution as having “freed Yemen from direct American control,” noting that the US Ambassador in Sana’a was essentially “above the president and the government.”

He explained that foreign interventions at that time were extensive, spanning all areas, from the judiciary to education, and even the dismantling of the military and the destruction of its defensive capabilities.

Sayyed al-Houthi pointed out that what distinguishes the September 21 Revolution from others is its purity and high standards. No acts of revenge or settling scores were recorded. Instead, the revolution brought security and stability to Sana’a.

Al-Houthi added that the revolutionaries embodied values of tolerance and Islamic ethics, and introduced the “Peace and Partnership” project, which was recognized both domestically and internationally before being thwarted by foreign-aligned forces.

He accused America and Israel’s regional and local allies of attempting to tear apart Yemen’s social fabric and instigate sectarian and regional divisions, considering these groups devoid of any genuine national project.

Sayyed al-Houthi also connected the September 21 Revolution with Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people, asserting that Yemen today stands as a unique model in confronting the Israeli occupation. Yemen’s role is having a direct impact on Israel’s economic and military drain, despite the enemies’ attempts to isolate it.

Al-Houthi warned of the danger of the Israeli project in the region, asserting that Israel’s ambitions are not confined to Palestine alone, but extend to the resources of the Gulf and the sanctities of the Muslim Ummah, including Mecca and Medina.

He confirmed that “Israel” seeks to impose a “right to invade” throughout the entire region.

Sayyed Al-Houthi added that “Israel” does not honor any agreements and is working to impose a state of lawlessness in the region.

He concluded his speech by reaffirming that the September 21 Revolution has restored the dignity of the Yemeni people, granting them the value of freedom and independence, emphasizing that preserving Yemen’s faith-based identity is the guarantee for building a true human civilization in the face of foreign projects.
