Yemen’s Parliament, Shura Council condemn Israeli aggression, considering it ‘full-fledged war crime’

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The Parliament (House of Representatives) and Shura Council in Sanaa strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression on the capital, Sanaa, and Jawf province, which targeted civilian infrastructure and residential homes, resulting in dozens of casualties.

In two separate statements, the councils described the attacks as a “full-fledged war crime” and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and Yemeni sovereignty. They stated that the aggression reflects the “failure, confusion, and hysteria of the Israeli enemy.”

The statements affirmed that these barbaric airstrikes would not intimidate the Yemeni people or deter them from their unwavering support for the Palestinian people.

The Shura Council held the Israeli entity fully responsible for the consequences of the aggression, while the Parliament called on the Yemeni armed forces to take all necessary measures to retaliate.

The two councils urged the international community and the United Nations to take immediate action to hold the perpetrators of the “war crime” accountable. They warned that “Zionist thuggery” poses a threat to international peace and security. The Shura Council also called on the Association of Senates, Shura, and Equivalent Councils to condemn the aggression against Yemen and the Palestinian people.
