Saudi defense reveals number of officers killed in southern border

SANAA, July 30 (YPA) –  49 Saudi officers of the Saudi Army Ground Forces were killed during the fighting with the Yemen army on its southern border with Yemen, according to official statistics released by the Saudi Defense Ministry on Sunday.

The official Saudi news agency also reported that the Defense Ministry announced of 49 military Job in the command of the Royal Land Forces, which meant that the Saudi Defense Ministry would be free of officers who could lead ground battles.

On July 9, the Yemeni army announced of targeting groups of Saudi soldiers in Najran with a barrage of Katyusha rockets, confirming that a number of Saudi soldiers and officers had been killed.
