Sanaa condemns targeting Hamas in Qatar, describing it as “blatant aggression”

SANAA, Sept. 09 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Sanaa government condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli targeting of leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Qatar on Tuesday, describing the attack as a “blatant aggression” against the sovereignty of the State of Qatar.

In a statement, the ministry affirmed that the Zionist aggression against Qatar is a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and all international norms and conventions. It noted that this “sinful” attack once again reveals “Zionist arrogance that has crossed all limits,” asserting that the Zionist entity poses a threat to the region and the world.

The ministry reiterated its warning against the entity’s transgressions in Palestine and the countries of the region, calling on the Islamic nation, especially Arabs, to take serious practical positions and direct their compass “toward the true enemy of the nation.”

The statement also emphasized that this “heinous crime” confirms that normalization with the Israeli entity will not achieve peace or stability, and that the “cowardly aggression” will only increase the steadfastness and struggle of the resistance in Palestine.

The ministry concluded its statement by asserting the Republic of Yemen’s firm position in supporting the Palestinian people and the mujahideen in Gaza.
