Al-Quds Brigades thwart infiltration attempt by Zionist special forces in southern Gaza

GAZA, Sept. 09 (YPA) – The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced that their fighters thwarted an infiltration attempt by Israeli special forces  in southern Gaza on August 29.

A senior commander in the Al-Quds Brigades told Al Jazeera on Monday that the vigilance of our fighters foiled an imminent security operation south of Gaza City, stressing that the Israeli enemy’s ongoing criminal efforts will be met with great vigilance, and our fingers remain on the trigger.

He confirmed the group fighters had seized military equipment, part of which has been documented, while the release of other materials has been withheld for security reasons.

The commander added, ” Our fighters are constantly engaged in complex security operations on the outskirts of Gaza. We detected new enemy security tactics, which we will expose with documents and evidence at the appropriate time.”

The resistance factions have consistently documented their operations targeting Israeli occupation forces and military  vehicles across multiple fronts since the escalation began on October 27, 2023.
