Mass rallies held worldwide demanding end to Gaza genocide

WORLD, Sept. 07 (YPA) – Tens of Thousands took to the streets across major cities and capitals around the world on Saturday to protest the ongoing Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

The rallies were held in cities including Paris, Istanbul, Manchester, London, Turin, Florence, Berlin, Helsingborg, Aarhus, and Copenhagen.

Protesters expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, calling for an immediate ceasefire and the urgent entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged territory.

Participants waved Palestinian flags and carried placards condemning the war crimes and violations of international law committed by Israeli occupation forces against civilians in Gaza.

They also called for an end to what they termed “double standards” in international responses and urged accountability for the Israeli government, particularly in relation to the killing of children and the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

In the German city of Bremen, a major protest was held denouncing the continuation of what organizers described as a campaign of starvation and extermination in Gaza. The event included the participation of the head of the German-Palestinian Association.

With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit crimes of genocide, war, siege, and starvation in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. As of Saturday, this has resulted in the martyrdom of 64,368 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 162,367 others. This is an unofficial toll, as thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, with rescue and ambulance crews unable to reach them.
