Gaza Interior Ministry: Israeli occupation’s allegations about military use of civil facilities are lies to justify crimes

GAZA, Sept. 06 (YPA) – The Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the Israeli occupation’s allegations regarding the use of residential towers and civilian facilities for military purposes are completely false and aim to deceive international public opinion and justify crimes committed against civilians.

In a press statement issued on Saturday, the ministry strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s destruction of the remaining residential buildings and civilian facilities in Gaza City, considering it part of an organized plan aimed at displacing residents and forcibly expelling them from their areas.

The Ministry of Interior also warned citizens against being drawn into what it described as “the occupation’s deception” regarding the existence of a safe humanitarian zone in the southern Gaza Strip, noting that experiences over the past two years have proven the falsehood of these claims.

The statement added that the occupation’s claim of the existence of safe zones within the governorates of the Gaza Strip is pure fabrication, calling on residents to remain in their homes and residential areas and not to believe these allegations, which, according to the statement, aim to push residents to flee.
