Scattered rainfall expected across several areas of Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 31 (YPA)-  The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expected on Sunday continued and scattered rainfall across several provinces of Yemen.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that scattered showers may prevail over Dhamar, Ibb, Rayma, Taiz, and Dhalea, Lahj and Abyan. As well as Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Bayda, and western Sanaa, to parts of the eastern, southern, and western coasts.

It warned citizens against thunderstorms, crossing floodwaters and ground bridges, or being in them during and after rainfall, in additional rock falls, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes.

The center advised taking the necessary precautions against thunderstorms and staying away from unstable slopes.
