GAZA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement has mourned the death of prominent Yemeni leader Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahwi, Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Reconstruction, who was martyred along with several ministers in a treacherous Israeli airstrike last Thursday.
In an official statement, the movement said the martyrdom of Yemen’s senior leaders in this “sacred battle” underscores the righteousness of their path, the unity of the Arab nation, and its collective destiny in confronting the Israeli enemy.
The movement extended its heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the Yemeni people and their leadership, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi.
It noted that the Prime Minister and ministers were martyred while actively engaged in their ongoing struggle against Israel, in support of the Palestinian people and their courageous resistance.
The statement added that the Palestinian people will not forget the sacrifices of the Yemeni people, who bear the cost of their steadfast and honorable stance in defense of Palestinian rights. It described Israel’s targeting of Yemen’s civilian government as a clear indication of its failure in the face of Yemen’s ongoing operations.
The movement expressed full confidence in Yemen’s leadership to overcome this trial and continue its principled struggle against Israel, despite the heavy sacrifices, conspiracies, and betrayals it faces.
