Factory producing food to treat malnutrition opened in Sanaa

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Sanaa government, Mohammed Miftah, along with the Ministers of Health and Environment, Ali Shaiban, and Education, Hassan Al-Saadi, inaugurated on Wednesday the first phase of a project to produce local alternatives to foods used in cases of malnutrition.

The project, sponsored by the Ministry of Health, aims to achieve self-sufficiency in therapeutic foods and reduce reliance on imported products, especially under the current blockade imposed on the country.
