60 Palestinian citizens killed, 345 injured in Israeli aggression on Gaza

GAZA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – Sixty people were killed and about 345 others were injured, on Tuesday, by Israeli occupation fire in Gaza in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 218,637 since the start of the war on Gaza.

In its daily report, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed in that Gaza Strip hospitals received 60 martyrs, including two martyrs (recovered), and 345 injuries during the past 24 hours.

It announced that the death toll from the Israeli genocide had risen to 62,064 martyrs and 156,573 injuries since October 7, 2023, explaining that the death toll from the Israeli genocide has risen to 10,518 martyrs and 44,532 injuries since March 18, 2025.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the death toll of starving “livelihood” victims who were killed by the occupation forces near alleged humanitarian aid distribution points rose to 1,996 martyrs and more than 14,898 injuries, whereas hospitals received 31 martyrs and 197 injuries in the past 24 hours.

According to the report, hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded 3 deaths due to malnutrition caused by the Israeli starvation policy in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 266 deaths, including 112 children.

Many victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews, the ministry added.
