Russian diplomat slams Israeli FM over “crocodile tears” in Security Council

NEW YORK, Aug. 10 (YPA) – Russian acting Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky has lambasted Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar during a Security Council session on Sunday.

“It turns out that the Foreign Minister of “Israel”, who hypocritically shed crocodile tears in this chamber over the fate of the Israeli hostages, and he already knew that his government’s decision would not returning home alive,” Dmitry Polyansky said during the emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.

He added, “By all accounts, Mr. Sa’ar needed to lay the groundwork for it and to put out the image in the media of the solidarity and sympathy of Security Council members so as to then be able to continue killing Palestinians.”

Polyanskiy further condemned “Israel”, stating, “Just like how the Jewish people that faced the Holocaust in the Second World War can today put Palestinians in a ghetto and pursue their total destruction.”
