GAZA, July 23 (YPA) -The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced on Tuesday evening that its fighters had targeted an Israeli armored personnel carrier (APC) in central Gaza and launched a rocket attack on an Israeli military command site in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip
In a military statement, the group said its fighters targeted a Zionist troop carrier with a “Yassin 105” shell in the Al-Jaafrawi area, southeast of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Separately, Al-Qassam Brigades shelled an enemy command and control site southwest of the city of Rafah with the short-range “Rajoom” rocket system, 114mm caliber.
Palestinian resistance factions continue to confront Israeli occupation forces advancing inside the Gaza Strip, as part of the ongoing ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ operation launched in response to Israeli attacks against civilians.
