Palestinian resistance shoots dead Israeli soldier, strikes military gatherings in Gaza

GAZA, July 20 (YPA) – On the 653rd day of the genocidal war the Israeli occupation has been perpetrating in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian resistance factions has continued to carry out qualitative and effective operations against the forces invading the Strip.

In new resistance operations, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced in a statement on Sunday that it had shot a Israeli soldier riding a Merkava tank in the vicinity of Al-Nazareth School on Baghdad Street in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City on 07-11-2025.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades declared that it had bombed with regular mortar shells (60 caliber) a command and control headquarters of the Zionist occupation in the Al-Satar Al-Gharbi area, north of Khan Yunis.

In turn, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Fatah movement, said that it had shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles that had tied to penetrate the vicinity of Qizan al-Najjar, south of Khan Yunis, with heavy mortar shells.

It added that its fighters had observed gunfire and smoke bombs being fired from a helicopter in the targeted area.

In the same context, the Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Resistance Committees, clarified that it had shelled a position of Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the vicinity of Highway 5, north of Khan Yunis, with 60mm mortar shells.
