Sanaa officially declares opening of “Aqabat Tharah” road in Abyan

ABYAN, July 19 (YPA) – Sanaa-based government officially announced on Saturday the opening of the “Aqabat Tharah” road linking the provinces of Bayda and Abyan.

During a field visit for opening, the Sanaa-appointed governors of Bayda, Abdullah Idris, and Abyan, Saleh Al Junaidi, declared the opening of the road after removing all obstacles and war remnants.

Bayda governor confirmed that the step was a translation of the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership that aimed at alleviating the suffering of the people of two provinces, as well as travelers’ suffering during traveling.

For his part, the Abyan governor commended the political leadership’s commitment to opening roads to alleviate the suffering of citizens under the conditions imposed by the coalition’s tools and blockade.

He praised the great efforts of all those who contributed to the success of this humanitarian act.
