Prominent leader killed by friendly fire in Abyan

ABYAN, July 19 (YPA) – The commander Ali Al-Barkani, one of the leaders of the brigades on Tharra front, was killed by a gunshot by mistake during weapons training in Abyan province, under coalitioncontrol, field sources reported.

According to the sources, the incident occurred at the hands of one of his fellow fighters during routine training at the front’s positions, in an incident described as painful.
