Gaza death toll mounts up 58,000 amid Zionist massacres against Palestinians

GAZA, July 16 (YPA) – The Gaza-based Ministry of Health declared that its hospitals received on Wednesday at least 94 martyrs and 252 injured people as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The ministry said in a statement that the death toll from the genocide in Gaza as a result of the Israeli aggression has risen to 58,573 martyrs, with 139,607 wounded, since October 7, 2023.

The statement added that seven Palestinians were killed and over 30 injured while trying to get food aid in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of civilians killed seeking food to 851, with over 5,634 others wounded since May 27.

“Several victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.
